# Ask Me Anything ? FAQ's

Frequently asked questions about Dental Implants ?
  • What Are Dental Implants ?

A dental Implant is a small titanium artificial tooth root replica that is custom selected for your missing tooth and placed in your jawbone under local anesthesia.

Once healed it can support a custom made crown bridge or fixed denture.

Dental Implants are designed to restore chewing function, appearance and confidence…

  • What Are Dental Implants better over Bridge or dentures ?

Dental implants are an excellent tooth replacement option for most patients.

Unlike a conventional tooth supported bridge, a single tooth implant does not require the adjacent healthy tooth to be prepared or trimmed.

Food accumulation under bridge can be an issue as the bone continues to erode in missing tooth area causing gap under bridge in years to come.

With Dental Implant we replace root along with the tooth and not only the tooth unlike a bridge making it a better alternative

Implant supported dentures can also provide better stability than conventional removable dentures.

The best option depends on oral health, Systemic health, bone condition, preferences and budget  of the patient.
